I'm a Korean Architect! - working @ Unsangdong

I started working in Seoul! I just completed my first week at work, and yes, I am exhausted from 12 hour work everyday. We start work at 9:30, and it goes on and on and on, through lunch and dinner till 10pm. I have to commute 50 minutes by subway, compare it to my previous commute in SF, which only took 5 mintues by foot!
Leaving my apartment for work at 8:15am...to the subway station.

Ahh.. commuters at the subway station. It wasn't that bad, since I leave quite late, the busiest rush hour is during early morning, ummm 7-8am?
Way to my office, it's on the ground floor, well actually in the basement level (baaaad air quality, and baaad lighting), go through the door on the right side of this photo, right behind the parked car.

That's my desk, the one with the monitor on, my PM is turning it off i think... After a long day of work, I still have work to do right now, and it's Sunday! I might have to pull an all nighter tomorrow for a meeting on Tuesday morning. But it's fun design work! (most of the time...) It feels like studio, where you design, prepare presentation material, draw diagrams... well it's because I'm working on a prototype housing. Ok, leaving the office now.. below is the view out from my office.
